I have stopped working out (and have a gym membership!); am not keeping up on chores around the house; am not eating right and don’t have the energy to put any extra effort in at work.
I’m 27 and nothing in particular happened, the only thing that might have triggered it is a family member is very ill with cancer…so it may have indirectly affected my motivation.
I’m stuck in a rut and feel unmotivated. What are some tips to get motivated again?

I know you probably don’t feel as if you need this, but it may work. Find yourself a good counselor. The right one can make the world of difference.
I used to be like you, unmotivated. I wouldn’t do any work, not eat properly and hardly leave my house cos I simply ‘didn’t see the point’. I got depressed and self-harm. I found the right counselor who I could ‘unload’ to about anything. Now that I don’t have anything weighing over me, I can move on and have more of a normal active life.
By the way, I’m 16 even though I’m a teenager, I was able to put aside the fact that I felt like I didn’t NEED help. And got the help I needed to move on.
